Companion care at home.
The Goal
Angels on Call needed their own website after becoming independent from a parent company. Well-established in the home care sector, they wanted a modern/minimalist site with a warm, emotional feel.
The Home Page
Highlights both client and caregiver side of the agency.
The Colors
The color palette was a joy to build.
The main color was purple was taken from the purple of the shirt. “The shirt says it all!” the client told me. “We tell people, Look for the purple shirt!”
They actually mailed a shirt to me so I could see the color with my own eyes! Once I saw the shirt, I understood.
The Services Page
Lots of white space for easy reading.
The Logo
The current logo was not modern or minimalist. Could we redesign? The client said no. Fortunately, I found variations being used:
Maybe too many variations. It was logo maze-craze!
I grabbed the pen’s logo and the shirt’s keypad — skip the major redesign! Just a rebuild in vector.
In the package with the shirt was a pen, brochure, and comment card to help me understand their branding.
They no longer used the green of the logo, so I took the purple and white and built a new color scheme.
The Icons and Vectors
To exude the warm companionship and help of in-home care.
Unfortunately, the parent company consolidated websites, so my design is no longer online.
